Here goes ladies, in cronological order...
NO WAY OUT 03
The posting of this cover was seriously delayed. Reason being, well i'd started on it a good five months after the actual event, so there was no rush, AND, i needed a BIG Bischoff psd and chain pic to really pull it off properly. I like the cover tho. I think the chain really works, giving the whole cover a really slick feel. It certainly set the scene for many of the No Way Out covers of 2004 to follow. Not bad for a cover to still inspire a whole YEAR after the event it was based on! The layout on the front is cool, and my fave part has to be the picture boxes on the back, how i blended them between the two wrestlers either side, even if i did rip the chain box idea thing from the front of the official version, LOL. Bobby says this is STILL my best cover to date... Not sure if i agree

VENGEANCE 03
Ahh. The first cover i ever made. Not bad for a first-timer if u ask me Wooo hooo! I think it was a good standard to kick off my covermaking career, and right away earned me the respect (and in some cases, jealousy) of my peers. I liked the images INSIDE the V logo, a trend which everyone ripped soon after. I also like how the faces are lined up on the front, and how the rays pic is blended into them. The BG was actually some horrid plain dark blue before i added the wind effect and enlarged V logo in there. Thank god i did too! A great example of how the right choice in BG can really take a cover to the next level. Notice the arrangement of picture boxes on the back there. Two one side and one the other. At the time, i just wanted sumthin different to the 3 vertically aligned ones that everyone else did. But that arrangement was to become something of a trademark in my early covers, LOL

And Wez STILL loves this cover!
The whole layout of the front came from that HHH pic, and i still love how it frames that whole page like that. I remember when i first started on it, i had Angle and Lesnar up top instead of Nash and Orton. Then HHH got injured, and the main event became the elimination chamber match, so i subbed them for the other 4 participants. Trouble was, Nash had that shitty haircut just days before the event, and while everyone else was content to use old pics of him, i wasn't. And i made my own Nash pic with a brand new hairstyle, LOL I actually cut paste and blended Test's hairdo onto his head, LOL But it worked a treat! I also got rid of Orton's schoolboy fringe! Man, I should get a job on The Salon! ;D This cover was also the first time i used the kind of blur effect in a cover/graphic. you know, the one EVERYONE seems to be doing nowadays? LOL I was inspired by the intro to Smackdown, when the blur just seems to bounce off each wrestler as the camera goes round them? You know what i mean... It's an effect i still use to this day! If u look closly, the BG used is the same i used for my previous Vengeance one. I played around with the colours on it for a bit, and it just fell into place perfectly. It was actually only wide enuf for the front cover, and streching it to fit the whole spread looked naff, so i had to think of sumthing to seperate the front and back. Which is where the idea for the shape things came from. I made them from cuts, pastes, and alot of smudges from the actual SS logo thing, and i was really happy with how it turned out. So much so that i made my picture boxes from them too! You'll notice the same arrangement of picture boxes on the back too...

When i first saw the poster for this event, i creamed.
The grittyness and dark mood was great, as it gave me some good ideas, and a style I'd loved to work in! I luved the main Kane pic on the poster, but i didn't want to rip it like everyone else seemed to be doing. People still ask me how i did those borders and picture boxes. Well i'll tell u. I used TEXT. Thats right, actual letters!!! In this case, it was the same as the official Unforgiven one. I chopped them up and moved bits around, etc etc, making the shapes i wanted. I did this for my borders in graphics for ages after too, and the results you can get can be fantastic. Aceboy used the BG here on his Vengeance cover, and i thought the way he used it was incredible. He kindly sent it to me when i asked, and this cover wouldn't have been half as good without it. This is still one of Confo's favourites of mine. (LOL, it seems everyone has their own DIFFERENT favourite Buckdawg cover )

I worked harder on this than i did any covers previous. But that doesn't always mean the results are better. Some things work. Some things, just DONT, no matter how much time u spend on them. And this cover, i felt there was something missing. I based it on the TV style and event promo's rather than the wallpaper that everyone else was. Thats always one thing i try to do with my covers. BE DIFFERENT. Not too much, as being too different can be fatal (See Armageddon later in this thread, LOL) I cut the hooks from the year's previous Backlash event, made them red, and used them in my BG. I also surrounded alot of stuff with the red scratches and scribble things, which i thought was a nice touch. I was at a loss tho for really decent size Taker and Lesnar pics, as is usually the case, and as a result the faces on the front looked a bit naff. I did like the logo i did tho, blending the Lesnar/Taker faceoff into it worked really well i thought, and the blending of the wrestlers either side their action pics on the back worked a treat too. Looking at the cover now tho, i wish i had more time to have spent on it. Im still chuffed with it tho, i wouldn't have posted it if i wasn't.
