Bret was also a 1991 King of the Ring.
About now I say they are equal. Kurt is my favourte hands down, even over Ric Flair now.
But I think Kurt needs to wrestle a couple of years more to really get the status Best wrestler of all time.
Flair also pointed this out in his book.
Can't believe people think Kurt's wrestling style is boring. If you think that, you don't know anything about wrestling.
I also have so much respect for Kurt cause still after FOUR (!!!) serious neck injuries (1996 olympics, WrestleMania XIX, after Survivor Series 2003 and after WrestleMania XX) he's still class and wrestling. I never expected him to return after WrestleMania XX to be honest.
I hope they'll push in the WWE title scene in the upcoming months, cause he really deserved it.
Most wrestlers with neck injuries sit at home doing nothing, but Kurt didn't do it and played the GM. Even at house shows!
For all that I have all the respect in the world for Kurt Angle, the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Oh it's true, it's true!

In my opinion is Bret the better of them both. Kurt is a very good worker in the ring. His wrestling moves and in-ring skills are great but at the microphone, I think he must work on it.

Bret was also a 1991 King of the Ring Thanks to you chappa, add that infomation as of now If you think Kurts wrestling style is boring, you haven't been watching wrestling for about five years now, has anyone in the history of wrestling countered as many finishers and moves as he has done (he countered a top rope hurricarana into an ankle lock for christ sake-summerslam 2002), and does anyone know any wrestler in history that can leap up to the top rope in an instant and pull off either an angleslam, belly to belly or armdrag with the speed and agility he has and yet is classed as a heavyweight. I don't think Bret Hart could've pulled any one of those things of in his best era, prove me wrong! Kurt is the better man, its true, its true! Ripper

I would definitively have to go with Bret. For me he already is a true wrestling legend. Angle is on his way of becoming one but still has a long way to go in my opinion...
so because of that: Bret Hart...
