The crowd were cheering for all the heels that night. I didn't hear them cheer for Booker T, Batisa and JBL

At the beginning of this Eugene-thing I found it funny. But since the it is simply boring for me. They pushed this gimmick to fast ´cause WWE thought, that´s necessary to bring the ratings back to top. But these Fanatic Series are to much of the good.

Reported by Ryan Clark on 09.06.2004 Although Eugene is not being blamed for WWE's recent string of bad ratings, many wrestlers are questioning WWE's decision to feature Eugene in two-straight high-profile matches, seemingly continuing his feud with Triple H and maintaining his spot at the top of the card. The original plan was for Eugene to slip into a midcard role after Summerslam, but after being featured in two straight "featured matches" on RAW, it's hard to call Eugene's current position with WWE "mid-card." Other critics question the purpose of Eugene's character as a whole. If WWE is supposed to be selling more realistic technical wrestling, why would Eugene be pushed as a serious contender for HHH, despite a moveset that feature some comedy and lack of what one might call "realism?" www.steveswrestling.com/newsboard/index.php?news=1169

Didn't hear those 'huge cheers' at SummerSlam 2004 They were canucks, their opinions don't matter because they don't know what they want.

The crowd were cheering for all the heels that night. Nah, the crowd were cheering for the people who mattered. Lets be honest, their opinion was the basic "smart fan" opinion of wwe right now... People are getting bored of Edge, so they booed Edge... People are starting to hate Eugene, so they booed Eugene... People HATE the diva shit, so they slated the diva shit... People are glad Angle's back, so they cheered Angle... People were pumped that Orton was gonna become champ, so they cheered Orton... I'm proud of the summerslam crowd for tellin it like it is. My only pronlem with it is that WWE were like "Whats goin on? We're in bizarro land, these fans are stupid" when it would ABSOLUTELY be in their best intrest to take note, cos they're opinion is shared by ALOT more fans than the ones in attendance...

I think it's cuz WWE didn't want to release it while Angle was injured. I think that WWE thinks it would sell better if he was an active member of the roster. Which i don't agree with cuz i really really want the Bret Hart DVD and he hasn't wrestled in 3-4 year. Interesting point dude, but it was scheduled for february and he was still wrestling then. But meh to it, I am in the process of making my own, which will pwn WWE's release (if it ever comes out). And their cover will probably suck ass. *Realises he doesn't have a cover for it now* *Goes to ask Bucket one in exchange for the DVD later today *

I agree and somewhat disagree. Eugene is a very good wrestler. I agree that he has been featured too much. But theres a good reason for it. It all led up to the Orton vs HHH feud. You have to keep that in mind. They needed a way to get to that in their storylines. As for the Fanatic Series and DVDs... Eugene shouldnt get one just yet. I think they should push Bret Hart. Possibly have him come back for a while. But i seriously doubt that will happen. But in the WWE you never know. LOL
